A joint project between the King Salman Center for relief and humanitarian works and Al-Rahma Charity Society will be implemented to secure and distribute Zakat al-Fitr to needy families in Somaliland in order to bring joy and pleasure to their hearts with the advent of Eid al-Fitr, the project will be secured by securing 172 tons of rice ( 8,600 bags of rice weighing 20 kilos per bag ) and distributed to 68,800 beneficiaries in the city of Hargeisa and its suburbs, and the project will be implemented on the 28th and 29th of the holy month of Ramadan.
This project comes as part of the center’s ongoing efforts to support the Somali people through the implementation of many projects in the sectors of water, health, education and food security
